Have a project in mind but don’t even know where to start? Let us guide you through our process via a few simple steps. Every project needs a different approach and we might need to change these steps up or skip some altogether, but whatever the request, our aim remains the same: a happy customer!
Initial contact
As soon as you get in touch with us, your name will be added to our Project List. This helps us keep track of everything and everyone. To begin, Kate will ask you a few questions regarding your project so as to be able to advise if it’s something we can help you with. If you would like to get in touch please click here.

Survey/Estimation
Most of the time the next step is a survey so August can come and have a chat with you and take measurements. After this we will provide you with an estimatie, including both a guide price and a job description. Sometimes we are able to give you an estimate without a survey, although this varies from job to job. A site visit is the perfect opportunity to discuss your needs and requirements in detail and ask any questions you might have. However, we know most questions start popping up once August is gone, so don’t worry. We are happy to answer any questions or queries, so don’t be afraid to drop us a message at anytime.
Quote
We aim to get back to you with a quote as soon as possible. This will be a final fixed-price quote and will contain all of the important details and specifications of your project.
Deposit
Once the details are agreed upon and you are happy to proceed, we will send you a deposit invoice. We usually require 50% of the total price before the work can commence. Once payment is cleared we will put our orders in with our suppliers and inform you of an approximate timescale for the project.

Production
You will receive regular updates on how your project is getting on. If the job takes place in your home, you will be informed when you can expect us to arrive. For bespoke items the first part of the job happens in the workshop where August does his magic manufacturing your goods! We will let you know when you can expect delivery and/or fitting.
Balance payable
Once the job is completed and you have signed the job completion form we will issue the final invoice.
Aftercare
Our support doesn’t end with the installation and the final payment. If you require any advice regarding the care and maintenance of your product(s), you are welcome to get in touch. As a small business we thrive on recommendations, so please consider leaving us a review on our Facebook page and telling your friends and family about us.
